TOURNAMENTS
$100K GLORY
The first Sunday of the month at KKPoker is always special, as it welcomed the double-guaranteed prize pool GLORY with a massive $100,000 to be won!
790 players entered the $100 buy-in tournament, and it was to be ‘sori’ who won the biggest prize worth over $16,000!
With the normal PKO poker format used, there was a standard and bounty prize pool to be won, so eliminating opponents was even more valuable!
With 5 players remaining and blinds at 200K/400K, ‘sori’ raised from the Cutoff to 800k with 6♥ 3♥ and ‘Tashe’ moved all in from the Button holding A♣ 8♦ for 3.5M.
The action folded back to ‘sori’, who had a 12.5M stack, and they called. The flop fell A♥ J♥ 9♠ to give ‘Tashe’ top pair, but ‘sori’ hit the flush on the 2♥ turn. The 5♦ river was insignificant, and ‘Tashe’ departed in 5th place.
On the very next hand, ‘sori’ raised to 1.2M with 9♣ 8♠ from Under the Gun and called an all-in from ‘Gemini’ who had A♣ J♦ and 3.1M in the Big Blind.
The board fell 8♥ A♠ 9♠ 2♣ 8♦, and ‘sori’ hit two pair on the flop, only to improve to a full house on the river to score back-to-back eliminations.
With 3 players remaining, ‘sori’ held a big chip lead with 20M against 6M and 2.7M!
A few hands then passed before the tournament reached its dramatic conclusion!
‘kk292834’ raised to 800K from the Button with K♥ 9♦ and ‘sori’ called from the Small Blind with 10♠ 8♣. ‘kk624771’ only had a 980K and moved all in with Q♥ J♠, and both players called the small number of chips extra to see a 7♦ 9♥ 6♣ flop.
‘sori’ had hit the nuts with a straight and checked. ‘kk292834’ had hit top pair, and with a 5.1M stack, and 3.1M in the pot, they went all in, which was snap-called by ‘sori’.
‘kk292834’ hit two pair on the K♠ turn and needed a full house on the river to survive…but the 6♠ appeared as the final card of the tournament, and ‘sori’ scooped the pot and was declared champion!

$30K HIGH ROLLER PKO
'kk398690’ battled through a 139-player field in the $30K HIGH ROLLER to win $8,284!
With three players remaining, former HIGH ROLLER champion ‘OWAKEN’ lost a crucial hand.
With blinds at 40K/80K, ‘kk398690’ raised to 200K from the Button with 10♦ 9♦, and ‘OWAKEN’ defended their Big Blind with 10♠ 8♠. The flop fell 9♥ 8♦ 5♠ and ‘OWAKEN’ check-called a 240K continuation-bet.
On the 2♠ turn, ‘OWAKEN’ checked, ‘kk398690’ bet 320K and the former moved all in for 1.7M, which was called. ‘OWAKEN’ needed help on the river, but it did not come when the 7♦ appeared, and the former champion was left with just 1BB and was eliminated just a couple of hands later.
‘kk398690’ held a 4.4M to 1.2M chip lead over ‘ReBuy兵長’ heads-up, and it only took 5 hands for the final standings to be decided…
‘ReBuy兵長’ moved all in from the Button for 8BB with 10♦ 9♣, and ‘kk398690’ called with A♥ 3♠.
‘kk398690’ improved their lead to top pair on the A♣ Q♣ J♦ flop, and the Q♥ on the turn gave them two pair. ‘ReBuy兵長’ needed a king on the river to hit a straight and survive, but when the 4♣ was revealed, ‘kkk398690’ earned the prestigious HIGH ROLLER title!

$33K BIG BOUNTY
The $33K KINGS BOUNTY tournament, part of the KKPoker 3rd Anniversary series of events, proved very popular, with 1,006 players joining the $50 entry MTT and the prize pool GTD doubled!
The tournament featured 30 invited special guests, including KK PROS Bruno Foster and Takuya Suzuki, plus WSOP Bracelets winners and KKPoker Vegas Dream winner Krzysztof Mielnik.
After 6 hours of action, 3 players remained, with Japan’s ‘bozu’ and ‘Paooooooon’ having dominating chip stacks over Canada’s ‘Xray47’.
With blinds at 200K/400K, ‘Xray47’ moved all in for 6.5M from the Button with 5♣ 5♥, and found themselves in a classic flip for their tournament life after ‘Paooooooon’ called from the Big Blind with A♣ J♦.
The flop fell A♦ K♠ J♥, putting ‘Paooooooon’ into a commanding lead! And when the A♠ and 10♥ completed the board, it was the end of the tournament road for ‘Xray47’.
‘Paooooooon’ held a 23.4M to 14M lead at the start of heads-up, and they extended their domination in the early battles until one hand turned the proceedings upside down…
‘Paooooooon’ called on the Button with Q♦ 7♠ and ‘bozu’ checked holding 9♣ 8♣.
A dramatic Q♣ J♣ 7♦ flop appeared, and ‘bozu’ check-raised a 690K bet to 2.4M. ‘Paooooooon’ called, and the 2♣ hit on the turn. ‘bozu’ bet 2.4M into the 6.1M pot, and ‘Paooooooon’ called.
On the 5♦ river, ‘bozu’ moved all in for 7.2M, and ‘Paooooooon’ thought for a long time with 19.8M behind before eventually they called and saw the bad news.
With the chip stacks now reversed and ‘bozu’ in the dominating position, both players patiently battled, and the gap between the players remained the same for many hands until ‘bozu’ eventually found a way through for victory…
With 400K/800K blinds, ‘Paooooooon’ moved all in for 12.2M from the Button with K♣ 5♠, and ‘bozu’ called with A♠ 10♣.
The 10♠ 2♠ 2♣ flop meant ‘bozu’ was two cards from winning, and their destiny was sealed on the J♦ turn and 6♦ river for a $6,529 winner’s prize.
